The 4th of November shall be a day that will be etched into our memory for many a year. Because the 4th of November was the day we got together… as friends, but as enemies. For one purpose, and one purpose alone : to shoot each other with laser guns.

Somewhere in the north of Singapore, an oloo part where few people have trod, there is a building. It is a building which we have waited many months to enter, to play the game we call… LaserQuest.

Before we arrived, the battle lines have been drawn. A fight to the death between two rival groups. This deal was made many moons ago… by forefather of Cell 2, a man named Christon Choo. So confident was he of kicking the butts of Cell 3 that he proudly challenged them to a fight to the death.. the arena of choice, LaserQuest. Little did he know.. it was a decision he would be made to regret for all of eternity.

For the winners, eternal glory awaited. For the losers, Washing Duty.. for ten years. With stakes as high as this, the two rival groups clashed in an epic battle which lasted for what seemed like forever… or 10 minutes.

Sweat dripped by the bucketful as each man made a valiant stand for their cause. Cell 3 emerged victorious, with Cell 2 condemned to the pits of washing duty. Did I mention… for ten years. Their leader, the famed Christon Choo, leading the points… from the bottom at -8. Sadly, the group would have scored better had he not played. Condemned to wash, he hid his face as Cell 3 celebrated with great gusto.

With the first battle out of the way, other great warriors, who were waiting their turn, entered the arena for fight of their lives.

Some emerged victorious, in glory. Others left with a sense of satisfaction, knowing they pitted themselves against the best and survived to tell the tale.

One man emerged the Champion. One man who killed more than any one else. His name will be forever sung as the topscorer of LaserQuest, his legacy remembered forever in the annals of HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok.

Close behind him was Vickygirl. A valiant effort by the female warrior, and nearly toppled Victorz, but alas it was not enough.

LaserQuest was a day to remember. For those that came to fight, this will be a day that they conquered, whether win or lose. The battlefield will be opened yet again in 2008. It is yet to be seen whether Victorz will once again reign supreme, or will there be another challenge to his throne as Top Scorer. We will never know.
